2010 Workshops with Carolyne:
Exploring and Embodying The Nia Movement Forms
January 16,
2010 10-12 am
Nia addresses the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual parts of ourselves.
It blends the martial arts (where you gain personal power), the dance arts
(where you connect with personal expression and passion), and the healing arts
(where you connect with the body). Integrating these three arts makes it possible
to shift the way energy moves through your body; changing the body’s shape,
improving strength, flexibility, mobility and over all conditioning. Working with
these 3 forms also helps bring into balance your body, mind, spirit and emotions.
Form, Freedom, and Emotional Expression

2010 10-12 am (Part 1)
